THE BRONX - Police have arrested a Bronx mother after she allegedly threatened her child's school today.

Authorities say 53-year-old Nuryis Laurenano went to the Bronx Preparatory Charter School to speak with staff, but was told they were unavailable. In response, she apparently remarked that she would treat the school like Newtown.

Laurenano's husband says his wife may have been angry about her child's relationship with another student, but that he doubts she'd make such a statement.

Laurenano was taken into custody for making a terroristic threat.
