Bx39 bus has commuter patience running on empty

THE BRONX - According to bus riders in Classon Point, it has become a daily struggle to catch a ride on the Bx39 bus, which they say rarely runs as it's supposed to.

According to commuters, they regularly have to wait 35-40 minutes for the bus, even though it's scheduled to run every 10 minutes during peak hours. They also complain that when a bus finally shows up, there are often three or four of them in a row with barely any passengers.

News 12 The Bronx joined some passengers at the Soundview Avenue stop. While waiting, one bus never showed up and two others went out of service and passed the stop completely.
