Bx46 buses hit the road for first work day on new route

THE BRONX - It's the first work day for a new bus route that's bridging two Bronx communities.

The new Bx46 bus debuted over the weekend, connecting the South Bronx with Hunts Point by way of Prospect and Longwood avenues.

The new route begins running at 5:30 a.m., with buses making stops every half hour.
