Cab driver beaten, robbed in the Bronx

Police say a cab driver was beaten and robbed in the Bronx on Saturday night while on the job.

The driver, Ataur Rahman, sustained injuries to his teeth, face and more.

THE BRONX - Police say a cab driver was beaten and robbed in the Bronx on Saturday night while on the job.

The incident took place at East 172nd Street and St. Lawrence Avenue.

The driver, Ataur Rahman, sustained injuries to his teeth, face and more.

Police have arrested 16-year-old Rondell Mines and charged him for the robbery. More charges could be added during his arraignment.

Police are still looking for a second suspect.
