THE BRONX - With only days left before next week's primary election, mayoral candidates are campaigning throughout the city.

Democratic hopeful Bill Thompson visited the Bronx yesterday to talk about education. Thompson met with supporters to talk about his plans for improving the city's education system.

Thompson says he wants to hear from parents and teachers, especially from low-performing schools, about how the city should help them. He says he also looking forward to holding the meetings on a regular basis.

The primaries for mayor will be held on Tuesday.
