Car fire in Morris Park ruled suspicious

Fire officials are investigating a possible arson after being called to the scene of a car fire on Pierce Avenue in Morris Park.

MORRIS PARK - Fire officials are investigating a possible arson Thursday after being called to the scene of a car fire in Morris Park.

The FDNY responded to the scene of a Honda minivan on fire. Fire officials say the minivan was torched in the morning and quickly spread to a second car.

Fire officials believe the minivan was deliberately set on fire. Fire marshals have been called in to investigate.

No one was injured in the fire.
