BRONX - Former Bronx Borough President Adolfo Carrion is stepping down from his post as head of the White House Office of Urban Affairs.

After leaving over a year ago, Carrion is returning to the Bronx and will become the director of the Department of Housing and Urban Development for New York and New Jersey.

As part of his responsibilities, Carrion will run federal housing operations.
