THE BRONX - Several Bronx residents say they have been ticketed for blocking access to a fire hydrant that was hidden in overgrown bushes.

The hydrant is located off the Hutchinson River Parkway service road near Zulette Avenue.

The tickets for blocking it cost $115, according to Jim Schuetz, who received one.

He and others ticketed for parking in front of the hydrant say that it's not fair for the city to continue issuing tickets without clearing the brush to make the hydrant visible.
