THE BRONX - Some families in Morris Park woke up on Thanksgiving Day to discover that their cars were vandalized overnight.Windows were smashed in on nearly a dozen cars parked along Hone, Lurting and Sackette avenues. Neighbors say while no property was stolen from the cars, the incident has put a damper on their holiday. "It was a nice day until that happened," says Tom Brennan, whose car was vandalized. "I came out about 5 in the morning and found my car all busted up."Residents say they hope police can step up patrols in their community to prevent future incidents involving vandalism.
