THE BRONX - A cash-strapped Jewish senior center and synagogue in Kingsbridge, may soon be forced to shut its doors for good.

Officials say the Van Cortlandt Jewish Center has been struggling since September when the Department of Education moved out of space it rented there.

The center, which has been open since the 1960s, needs a new tenant by this summer that will spend about $80,000 a year in order to stay open.
