THE BRONX - Major renovations are set to close two subway stations on the 6 line in the Bronx.

On Saturday, Castle Hill Avenue and Middletown Road stations will close for seven months.

Saturday commuters at the Midddletwon Road Station will have to take the BX8 and the BX24 buses to and from Westchester Square-East Tremont Avenue Station.

Those using the Castle Hill Avenue Station need to take the BX4 bus to and from the Parkchester Station.

While signs have been up for weeks about the closures and alternative routes and buses are scheduled, MTA employees were on hand at the stations informing riders about the changes.
