Census bus on the road in The Bronx

BRONX - The census bus will end a two-day tour through the Bronx areas of Fordham and Wakefield in the hopes that more residents will be counted in the 2010 census.

Dubbed "The Liberty,? the bus tour is focusing on neighborhoods with historically low census turnouts and is stocked with promotional materials for people who fill out the questionnaire.

All residents - whether documented or undocumented - must be counted in the census which ensures an accurate amount of funding is allocated to local projects.

Residents should expect a census form in the mail in March.
