THE BRONX - A child psychologist who worked at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine is facing a host of charges after police busted him in an undercover sting.

Police say 34-year-old Justin Miller treated children ages 6 to 12 and that many of them had special needs. They say the yearlong investigation involved Miller sending sexually explicit messages to a person he thought was a 14-year-old girl. However, the person on the other end was an undercover NYPD officer.

Investigators say Miller not only sent messages, but he even sent pictures and talked on the phone with the officer. They say he even planned to meet up with the person he thought was the young girl.

One mom whose child goes to the institute says it's a crying shame and that better screening is needed.

Miller is charged with attempted use of a child for sexual performance, attempted dissemination of indecent material to a minor and endangering the welfare of a child. He faces up to seven years in prison if convicted.
