THE BRONX - A Bronx martial arts gymnasium spends a few hours each Sunday teaching children how to protect themselves from strangers.

The free ?Be a Safe Kid? program works with students to give them self-defense techniques. Sensei Linda Ramzy says she wants to teach students how to form boundaries with strangers.

Ramzy also teaches students to memorize numbers and addresses of family members in case they need to call for help. The program is open to all age groups.
