Child sex abuse center aims to help borough victims

THE BRONX - A program in the borough is providing child sex abuse victims a place to feel comfortable.

The Kingsbridge Heights Community Center serves Bronx children from ages 3 to 21, who have been either sexually attacked or want to learn prevention measures. The center provides counseling services free of charge.

The center is the only one of its kind in the borough dedicated to child sex abuse prevention and treatment. Doctors at the center say they hope to provide the service to underserved communities in the borough and improve quality of life for residents.
