HUNTS POINT - Neighborhood children held a holiday bazaar today in an effort to raise money for area charity organizations.

This is the second year that the Season of Giving fundraiser has been in Hunts Point. It was started to remind children that the holidays are about giving as much as they are about getting.

The event also included workshops on resume writing, job consultation and building self-confidence.

Mentors at the event say they want to encourage children to give back their community all year, not just during the holiday season.
