Church robbed over Thanksgiving holiday

THE BRONX - Church goers are upset that their place of worship was robbed during the Thanksgiving holiday.

Police say money from a poor box was stolen from Our Lady of Refugee Church between Nov. 25 and 26. Church leader Father Janick says robbers broke into the church and stole a laptop, music, a video camera and $800 in cash.

The church was broken into through a window. Residents say several churches have been broken into recently in the area.
