THE BRONX - A Bronx lawmaker has introduced new bike paths in the borough.

City Council member Andy King was on hand in Co-op City for the unveiling of the new routes.

The biking options are in addition to the 10 miles already in other parts of the borough, including Baychester and Pelham Bay.

King says that putting in bike lanes not only provides residents with transportation alternatives, but also promotes a healthy lifestyle.
