THE BRONX - A new crime report by the mayor’s office outlines the reported failures of The Bronx district attorney.

The report says the borough is last in gun crime and felony convictions. It also says The Bronx has the longest wait between arrest and arraignment.

According to the report, firearm felons were sentenced to prison just 31 percent of the time in The Bronx, compared to 76 percent for Queens. It also says that 47 percent of high-risk felony defendants were released before facing trial.
