THE BRONX - New data released by the city shows that potholes are fixed quickest in The Bronx. The Department of Transportation (DOT) says it took an average of two and a half days to repair potholes this past summer. In Brooklyn and Queens, repairs took roughly eight days. Authorities say there's no real reason for the difference and that repair times tend to fluctuate based on work crews' schedules.Last year, the citywide average repair time was nearly 11 days. Officials say bad weather was mostly the reason.
