THE BRONX - The City Council's Education Committee passed a resolution to allow groups to worship in schools today.

Currently, many groups rent out school space on the weekends. Some council members say that allowing religious groups into that mix may give the impression that the school system is promoting certain ideologies.

The City Council will vote on the resolution Wednesday.
