City Island restaurants report increase in business this summer

CITY ISLAND - Bronx business owners say business was up this summer, despite at least four blistering heat waves.

Restaurant owners located in City Island told News 12 The Bronx that many locals came out and helped fill their tables. Seashore Restaurant's manager say business was up about 10 percent in the last two summers.

While the back-to-school rush may bring a lull in business, City Island restaurant owners say that is normal and that it should pick back up on the weekends.
