CITY ISLAND - The city says it isn't taking any chances and is fully prepared to handle snow during part two of the nor'easter.

Department of Sanitation Commissioner John Doherty says crews will take to the roads in full force with plows and salt once the snow begins.

Con Edison crews are also gearing up for possible outages as high winds could take down trees and power lines.
