City to repair potholes in The Bronx

THE BRONX - The Department of Transportation and local council members announced today new initiatives to repair potholes in The Bronx.

For weeks, residents have complained about potholes riddling Bronx streets, causing damage to cars and unsafe driving conditions.

The city says it plans to spend another $2 million to patch up the streets. An online citywide pothole tracker has also been launched.

Officials say they still want to know about potholes in Bronx neighborhoods. To report a pothole, residents can call 311.
