THE BRONX - The Civilian Complaint Review Board was in the Bronx Tueday to take police misconduct complaints from residents.
The board was at the office of Councilman Andrew Cohen in Riverdale as part of a month-old program known as “CCRB in the Boroughs.” It involves the board going to the five boroughs with their investigators and documenting police misconduct complaints.
Only a handful of people showed up to Cohen’s office while News 12 was there.
Organizers say they are not affiliated with the NYPD and any complaints filed will remain confidential.
There will be more CCRB programs in the future, but residents can also file complaints at the board’s office in Manhattan.
