Students huddled around the piano Tuesday to learn from a pianist who is "Bachpacking" through city schools. (1/14/14)

HUNTS POINT - A classical pianist stopped by a Bronx school today as she "Bachpacks" her way through the city's schools.

Classical pianist Simone Dinnerstein visited third-graders at Hyde Leadership Academy in Hunts Point.

Dinnerstein is trying to expose kids to music they may not be used to, like the classical composer Bach.

Dinnerstein, who is from Brooklyn, began taking lessons at age 7. She studied at Juilliard and is signed to Sony Records.
