THE BRONX - A Hunts Point strip club is closing its doors after a long battle with the community.

According to state Sen. Jeff Klein, Club 11 at 1152 Randall Ave. is finally surrendering its liquor license.

Several elected officials and local residents have complained about the club since it opened in 2009, saying its reputation for shootings, stabbings, fights and sex assaults tarnish the neighborhood.

The club reportedly chose to surrender its license because it didn't want to pay penalties and worker compensation.
