THE BRONX - Union members and the Co-op City community were out in full force today in an effort to save their local post offices from closing.

Protesters want the Einstein and Dreiser Loop locations to remain open, arguing that both provide essential services to residents living nearby.

The post offices are just two of more than 3,000 across the country in danger of closing or consolidation.
