Unionized maintenance workers and porters in Co-op City say they plan to go on strike unless management provides a new contract.The union, Local 32BJ, says

THE BRONX - Unionized maintenance workers and porters in Co-op City say they plan to go on strike unless management provides a new contract.

The union, Local 32BJ, says it wants better wages, sick days and vacation days as well as medical coverage. Riverbay management says it needs workers to switch to a more affordable health care plan.

The current contract expires Monday.
