CO-OP CITY - Residents in Co-op City are demanding action on an abandoned construction site in their neighborhood that they call a dangerous eyesore. Co-op City Baptist Church started a project at the corner of Boller Avenue and Erksine Place back in 2007. The city's Department of Buildings says it has been on their stalled sites list for the past two years. It claims the site is sealed and secure, but residents say it's dangerous.News 12 The Bronx reached out to the church for comment, but it hasn't yet responded.
