THE BRONX - Some tenants in Co-op City were stranded in elevators due to a power outage early Friday morning.

Firefighters from eight departments were called to 98 Co-op City Blvd. just after 1 a.m.

Officials say everyone was rescued within an hour and a half.

News 12 reached out to the Riverbay Corporation, the Co-op City management company, but it hasn’t responded.
