THE BRONX - The cold temperatures on Monday mean the snow and ice the borough got over the weekend isn't melting anytime soon.

Some residents spent over an hour trying to dig out plowed-in cars. Some residents had the help of their neighbors to dig out.

The Department of Sanitation says its job is to plow the streets when it snows. It says it can't remove the snow that piles up alongside cars.
