THE BRONX - ? Bronx native Colin Powell returned to his roots in Longwood.

The former joint chief of staff was back to commemorate a new energy-efficient housing complex named in his honor.

The building features a green roof and will house 50 low-income families.

Powell grew up just a few blocks from the new building on Kelley Street.
