THE BRONX - A broken catch basin in Castle Hill has finally been fixed after several weeks of complaints.

Community activist Sydney Flores sent in pictures of the new drain, which is located on the northbound Cross Bronx service road and Gleason Avenue.

As News 12 previously reported, neighbors had been calling for repairs since February.

Flores says he had notified the city several times about the issue, calling it a danger to the community because water didn't drain properly.
