THE BRONX - Soundview residents are urging the city to repair a catch basin that has completely caved in across the street from a school. Neighbors say a collapsed catch basin right across from P.S. 93 is an accident waiting to happen. Boynton Avenue resident Timothy Arroyo says the problem started about six months ago. He and others say it's taking the city way too long to fix, especially since it's right near a school. A Department of Environmental Protection spokesperson says a total repair is scheduled within the next 10 days.
