A college basketball star was shot over the weekend after returning home to The Bronx to visit his family. University of Arizona student Kevin Parrom

THE BRONX - A college basketball star was shot over the weekend after returning home to The Bronx to visit his family.

University of Arizona student Kevin Parrom was shot in front of a building at 1200 Woodcrest Ave. A witness says there was a dispute before the incident.

Parrom, who graduated from St. Raymond's High School, is expected to make a full recovery. Arizona coach Sean Miller says he looks forward to Parrom's return to Tucson and his classes later this week.

Police say no arrests have been made.
