THE BRONX - Throgs Neck residents are demanding traffic changes at a busy intersection following the death of a 74-year-old pedestrian last week.

Community Board 10 says it wants a speed bump installed on Puritan Avenue and more 30 mph speed limit signs on East Tremont Avenue. It's also asking that engineers check to see if there are any more measures that could be put in place to improve safety.

The Department of Transportation says it's reviewing the requests and will continue to work with board members.

Angel Figueroa was killed after being struck by three different cars while trying to cross the intersection on his way to a doctor appointment.
