MORRIS PARK - A community meeting was held tonight in Morris Park to discuss whether to keep or demolish a roller skating rink.

Some say the rink in Loreto Park is underutilized and has become a shadow of what it used to be just a few years back when it was first constructed.

When the rink first opened in 2005 it housed a 300 person hockey league, but it is now described by some of the community as a concrete waste.

A decision regarding the rink's fate has not yet been made.

If a decision is made to take the rink down, it's unclear where the funding would come from.
