THE BRONX - Members of Community Board 7 voted last night in favor of turning Kingsbridge Armory into a massive ice center.

Some residents, however, had concerns about the traffic and parking nightmare that the center could cause.

Nothing has occupied the armory for nearly 20 years. Developer KNIC Partners says its plan will not only provide a premiere tourist attraction, but it will also provide huge financial gains for the local community in the form of living wages and free or discounted rates to local schools.
