THE BRONX - Community Board 8 has voted to overhaul parking regulations along a series of narrow streets in Riverdale.

The changes will include new no stopping, standing and parking rules for roads such as Independence and Sycamore avenues, and 254th Street.

Residents have long complained about congested parking, and hope the changes will make the streets easier to navigate.

The new rules still need final approval from the city's Department of Transportation (DOT).
