COUNTRY CLUB - Local community boards are providing a pivotal role in Sandy cleanup efforts.

Community boards in Locust Point, Country Club and Throgs Neck have been filing complaints with Con Edison on behalf of residents without power or with downed trees.

The boards say that even though they can't guarantee when power will be restored, at least they can give some hope that messages are being heard.
