THE BRONX - Community members are fighting back against recent crime in their neighborhood in Westchester Square.

Community members held a meeting to discuss starting a neighborhood patrol. The meeting was spurred by the recent violent incident in the area when a 79-year-old woman was sexually assaulted in the elevator of her apartment building.

Neighbors, businesspeople and politicians discussed how to help police monitor crime. Participants in the patrol will work in pairs and carry whistles.

Police are still looking for a suspect in the rape incident.
