THE BRONX - Dozens of community members rallied in Fordham Heights yesterday to get the Archdiocese to save Our Lady of Mercy from being closed.

Supporters of the school need to raise over $300,000, or come up with a sufficient plan in order to get the funds by Jan. 3.

Our Lady of Mercy is one of eight Bronx schools that are in danger of getting shut down.

The Archdiocese says that schools are in trouble for a number of reasons, including enrollment and financial issues.
