Community rallies to save St. Dominic's Catholic School

THE BRONX - Parents, teachers and local lawmakers rallied today to stop the impending closure of St. Dominic's Catholic school.

The school is one of six Bronx Catholic schools that have been labeled "at risk" by the Archdiocese of New York. The schools are coping with poor enrollment and funding gaps, church officials say.

Other schools that may be affected are St. John Vianney, St. Augustine, St. Martin of Tours, St. Pius the Fifth and St. Anthony-Saint Frances.
