THE BRONX - Commuters are calling for cleanup at the Pelham Bay 6 train station.

People who live near and use the subway stop say that trash around the station has been an ongoing issue for years because there aren't enough garbage bins.

The MTA responded, saying that there are ample trash cans at the station, and that it can't control where riders throw their trash.

However, transportation officials did add that they will investigate.
