THE BRONX - Concerned parents met with administrators and safety officials last night to discuss a recent rash of school violence.

Parents say they are concerned about the violence at I.S. 138 and P.S. 129. Parents say a a group of students from P.S. 129 got into a confrontation with students from I.S. 138 that resulted in a stabbing.

The student who was stabbed is in stable condition. Two others were arrested.

Parents say they do not believe there is any rivalry between the schools. At the meeting, administrators say there will be more police and school safety officers at both schools during dismissal.
