Congestion not easing amid Fordham Plaza reconstruction
THE BRONX - Drivers and pedestrians are struggling to get around busy Fordham Plaza due to an ongoing construction project.
The road work started more than a year ago, but isn't slated to be completed until sometime later this spring. Until then, traffic has been rerouted and some streets shut down, creating a lot of congestion for commuters.
The travel headaches may be worth it once the new plaza is unveiled, becoming a destination in itself.
