THE BRONX - Construction to an underpass along the Grand Concourse started on Monday, which will close the roadway during the overnight hours for a week.

Upgrades are also being performed to the underpass on East 167th Street, which include sidewalk, lighting and drainage repairs.

Crews will also be removing graffiti.

The underpass will be closed from 10 p.m. until 6 a.m. The project is expected to last eight months.
