THE BRONX - Another new addition to East Fordham Road is causing drivers to hit their brakes.

Crews are putting in a brand new divider, which is forcing them to close down alternate lanes while they work on irrigation.

Laborers say the median is essential to prevent flooding on the busy roadway when heavy rain hits the borough.

Construction is expected to wrap up in two weeks.
