Controversial ad on Muslim radicals debuts at subway stations

THE BRONX - A new advertising campaign that equates Muslim radicals with savages debuted today at several subway stations across the city.

The ad states, "In any war between the civilized man and the savage, support the civilized man. Support Israel. Defeat Jihad."

Last week, Mayor Michael Bloomberg responded to the ad with harsh criticism, asking people to tolerate things that they may find 'despicable.' Conservative blogger Pamela Geller, who is behind the ads, says she will not make any apologies.

Police say they're not anticipating adding any security to the subway stations because of the ads.
